RDX & HMX & C4

RDX, real name is cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine, RDX is an explosive that melts at 204 °C and has a density of 1.816 g/cm³. RDX is a white, crystalline solid. It is less sensitive, chemically and thermally more stable than PETN.

RDX Types: Class 1, Class 3, Class 5, Class 8, CXM 7, Comp. A3, Comp. A4, Comp. A5.

HMX, also called octogen, is a more powerful and relatively insensitive high explosive than RDX. The name of HMX is also variously listed as High Melt Explosive, Her Majesty’s Explosive, High Velocity Military Explosive, or High Molecular Weight RDX.
